Applying for Membership
To apply for membership, please do the following:- Please note that you must be at least 21 years of age to become a member of CANS.
- Visit the CANS Web Site to get a good idea of what we're about.
- Read the CANS By-laws.
- Read the CANS Rules and Etiquette Policy.
- Send email to CANS if you still have questions. Please let us know if you would like to host a naked event in your home.
- Download the application form, fill it out, and contact us by email for instructions for submitting it to the membership coordinator. If you are unable to download or print the application form, contact us by email, and we will send you a hardcopy via US mail. Be sure to include your mailing address.
- You can expect to hear from the membership coordinator shortly after your application is received.
Dues
New members shall pay dues according to the following rate schedule:

| September through October | $15 | $20 |
Current C.A.N.S. members renew their memberships in December for the following year. Renewal dues are $20 for an individual, or $25 for a couple at the same address.
Guests
Prior to submitting a membership application to C.A.N.S., you may attend one C.A.N.S. event as a guest, if you meet any one of the following conditions:
- You are the guest of a current member of C.A.N.S. in good standing.
- You are visiting Chicago from out of town and are a member in good standing of a gay nudist organization in your home town, and your home club is recognized or affiliated with national gay organizations, such as G.N.I. or I.-M.E.N.
- You are visiting Chicago from out of town and maintain an individual membership in good standing with G.N.I. or I.-M.E.N.
As a guest you will be asked to pay $5 above the cost of any event you attend. If you decide to apply for membership in C.A.N.S., your $5 will be applied toward your membership application fee. You may only attend one C.A.N.S. event as a guest. If you wish to attend subsequent events, we ask that you attend as a member.
